The parents have been taking turns for more than two weeks now. Any time I look it seems to me the same one is there, but I know better. I can't wait to see the little "dovelet" peeking out at the world from the great saguaro nest.<br /><br /><br /><br /> Speaking of saguaros and <a href="http://www.avianweb.com/doveinfo.html">doves</a>, the Mexican doves, (<i>Zenaida asiatica mearnsii</i>) have been around for a while awaiting the feast of the saguaro flowers. Nature is a really incredible web, is it not? And there are saguaros here and there that started flowering.<br /><br /> I will leave you with some pics of the first flowers I've seen at my friend's house.
